I’ve checked back here daily for SOMETHING from you in regards to Devil’s hockey and you’ve failed. Even if ALL IT WOULD BE was a blurb to open a dialogue in the comments.

I’m starting to wonder if you’re really Mr. Cordell and posting this sparse drivel to drive more people over to IA.

Why don't you apply to write for the devil's here?

Have you ever thought that maybe he is busy and let's be honest most of the writers here are doing this as a side gig.

We miss TC but we respect that he has to do what is best for him and he does a great job, and he does alot. Just like we miss TG from fire and ice

Sure it would be nice if we had a post over the past 2 weeks be it something like should Fitz use this time for trades, etc but in all honesty there really wasn't much going on devil's related

With all due respect your suggestion is quite inane. If I had interest and the initiative to, I would have. But if you’re going to sign up for a position, whether it’s your primary source of income or a side job to have fun with, then do it and do it well. I don’t think anyone is expecting earth shattering content, but there is plenty to talk about and discuss even without the Devils playing any games.

If someone can’t put in a reasonable amount of effort and proofread their WRITTEN COLUMN, I do not have much sympathy.

I'm not looking to rank on anyone here, but honestly the lack of Devils coverage is as insulting as Mark Pino constantly blaming the Devils for ruining Sabres hockey. Instead of the occasional article on the Devils we get the occasional blurb about the Devils every five or six days. Sorry but that's just awful

I sat silent for months and months, and it is time that I voice my opinion. I’ve seen plenty of others before me who agree. You don’t have to like my opinion and don’t care one bit if you do. However, if I’m going to voice my opinion I’m going to do so in a clear and precise way. So please, excuse me if it is too proper for your liking.

I get your overall point and respect it, but defending this type of content is a lonely hill to die on. It wouldn't take more than 5 minutes to write this specific blog up INCLUDING some decent sentence structure to make it easier to read.

This specific blog was maybe 150 words and it was basically unreadable due to how it's presented. It's basically just incomplete thoughts scattered around.

Again, you don't see me throwing my name in the ring to be the blogger. With that said, if this is the type of blog that will be posted, it isn't unreasonable to expect that 5 minutes to be spent on making it look professional and legible.

Nobody is asking for a lot here, just a LITTLE bit of a semblance of effort. Open up a mailbag, take questions, look at Binghamton, talk about what this two week pause could mean for the Devils down the road. There are endless topics that could be discussed, and no one is expecting it to compare to Mr. Cordell’s work, but you can hire a 4th grader and get better content with better grammar.

I’m sure Mr. Mussa is a lovely person, but his work is substandard even under the lowest expectations.

We finally get a post since there's finally something to post about, and 3 termites come out of the woodwork to complain. I have real-life problems to focus on and appreciate having this forum of what's mostly the 10 of us to talk about the Mickey Mouse NJ Devils. It's such a small thing but I appreciate it, and without Roger we may not have it. I appreciate the time Roger does take for this (which does take more than 5 minutes.. at least for me it would.. heck it's taking more than 5 minutes to write this comment). Roger writes for a community of like 10 people and enables a platform for us to come here and interact. I don't see the 3 of you engaging with us on this forum often at all except to complain, so frankly you're making this experience much worse than Roger is.

Looking forward to watching our team take the ice again and attempt to embarrass the Rags. May the worse team lose, lol.

When Roger has time, I appreciate that he interacts with us and post replies. He seems like a good guy. I get the criticism but it is what it is.

I partly agreed with you at first, even though you took a very abrasive and disrespectful approach. However, as others have stated, the last two weeks there has been radio silence from ALL writers and news outlets in regards to the Devil's situation. As a result, it would appear you (and me at first) pounced on Roger as there was no one/no where else we could turn to in order to vent our frustrations.

The point is, the guy had nothing to report. Instead of pointing your anger towards Roger - reach out to the Devils organization, Amanda Stein, Star Ledger, NJ.com, etc. They are the ones that actually have full access to the inner workings of the day to day operations, NOT blog writer Roger Mussa.

Anyway, rant over. Excited for the return of Devil's hockey. And I don't mean to be an extremist, but we need to at least get 1 point tonight or I'm afraid it will feel like too much of a psychological uphill climb in the standings if we don't.

First off, even if there was a substantive retort it would seem unlikely to change your mind.

This blog is that blurb. So now that Roger has posted SOMETHING to open a dialogue in the comments, you're complaining about it.

So really, what's the point? We get you are holy unsatisfied. Nobody is arguing you should be happy. You're entitled to feel however you want. But the solution is not to ruin the experience for everyone else looking to have a friendly chat. We are well aware of the frequency and depth of the articles here.

We can help direct you to several other online sites that have in depth articles for you to enjoy. But you are coming off as an insufferable menstruating female genitalia. I think we've all tried to be reasonable and helpful. If you need validation so badly, I am happy to say "It's OK. You're right. thank you for coming." But at a certain point you need to realize this isn't going to change anything and should consider (frank)ing off. For the good of society.

Perhaps. JUST MAYBE, you have an actual point about NJ Devils hockey you'd like to make and we could talk about that. You don't really need Roger to be your emotional tampoon to give you the right to make a brilliant point about the team.
